Yiamas Greek Taverna is a Glasgow favourite for fresh, authentic Greek food. It has been operational since 2012 and was the very first restaurant to bring the popular Greek food ‘gyros’ to Scottish soil.<br/><br/>The venue was brought to life by Cretan born Yiannis and his wife Linda. After his passing in 2016 his daughter Stascia stepped in to fill his shoes and run the business alongside her mum. The duo still work to the recipes Yiannis created all those years ago, keeping the original spirit of Yiamas alive.<br/><br/>The restaurant is held in high regard with many travelling long distances to visit the establishment. Their quality cuisine paired with an inviting and friendly atmosphere has kept regulars coming back time and time again. Customer favourites include our packed gyros pitas and souvlakia washed down with cold mythos beer or Loux soda.
