Hidden away in the quiet, beautiful village of Timble, nestling in the stunning Washburn Valley, The Timble Inn is a romantic Grade II listed 18th Century Coaching Inn with foundations dating back to 1200AD. Now family owned and for the past 3 years having been awarded a 5 Star Silver Award rating and 2 culinary Rosettes by the AA. The Inn re-opened in 2010 after five years of extensive renovation and restoration. Since the initial works, the kitchen has also been extended in 2015 to improve the efficiency of our service and since 2016, we have undertaken an extensive “freshening up” of the restaurant, bar area and rooms. In January 2018, we installed a brand new, state of the art kitchen, allowing our chefs even greater scope for their creativity. Our Rooms No expense has been spared in creating a casually elegant atmosphere in all of the nine rooms where luxury abounds. Our sumptuous natural feather pillows and duvets, luxurious crisp white linen and high-quality furnishings, help you melt into your pocket-sprung bed. All rooms have wall-mounted 32-50 inch flat screen TVs with Freeview. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms and public areas. An extensive hospitality tray allows you to unwind in style. Robes, slippers and Egyptian cotton towels are provided for your ultimate comfort, as are a range of indulgent yet eco-friendly toiletries from local Harrogate supplier, H2k. All of this has combined to result in our awarding of a 5 Star Silver Award rating from the AA Our Restaurant All our dishes are fresh and use the finest quality locally sourced ingredients where possible. Our classically trained Head Chef leads a passionate and talented kitchen who prepare and cook with style and substance. Our friendly yet professional Front of House team will serve you with zest and skill. The AA liked it so much, they awarded us two rosettes!
