The Lamplighter Dining ~ Rooms is traditional British restaurant located in the heart of Windermere, specialising in locally sourced fresh meat and fish from Fleetwood. The jewel in our crown is our critically acclaimed and unique Sunday lunch. The restaurant and bar is family run and was opened in 1984 and is now run by brothers James & Alistair Tasker. We have four distinct dining areas from the more informal lounge bar through to the restaurant and its adjoining annex as well as our terraces with newly installed heated an lit umbrella's. Booking is essential and our absolute focus is the quality of our product and the levels of customer service for which we are renowned throughout the area. We also offer an extensive wine list and beverage list offering over 250 product lines from draft beer, to wine by the glass and bottle, cocktails and so much more. We welcome private parties and events from 8 guests to 60 guests whatever the occasion and would ask that you contact us directly to discuss your exact requirements.
