With its roots way back in the 16th century, The Ferry Boat Inn on the River Crouch is a beautiful and historic weatherboard pub. Located in the picturesque village of North Fambridge, this traditional pub serves homecooked food in front of log fires and oak beams, along with a wide selection of beers, ales, wines and soft drinks. Six accommodation rooms can be found in the courtyard annexe, with a large beer garden with views across the Essex countryside. There is ample free parking outside with easy access by road, rail (North Fambridge train station >1mile), sea (visitor berthing available at Fambridge Yacht Haven) and by foot. Dogs welcome.
