Set in the ancient village of Old Hartley this coastal destination is a short walk away from St. Mary's Lighthouse & Seaton Sluice. We are the first pub in Northumberland as you travel north up the coast from North Tyneside located on the Coast and Castles cycle route. We serve authentic English pub food delivering the classics but with a focus on high quality and locally sourced ingredients. We cater for families, vegetarian and vegan tastes alike. Our drinks menu provides for all tastes, from craft ales to your popular favourites. We can uniquely cater for groups of up to 15-40 people in five separate dining spaces including our Bay View 1st floor private dining suite, with stunning sea views across to Whitley Bay. We also have an outside terrace that seats 60 people, socially distanced. This grade II listed building is stunning in its setting and décor. We have worked with renowned artists, designers and local craftsmen to create something very unique. Opening from mid-day until late, reservations are essential.
