The Grade II listed Cowpers Oak is a gorgeous country pub. Home to great food with an Italian flair, real ales, an extensive wine list and an equally great atmosphere. We’re dog friendly, and they are very welcome in the bar area. Whether you just fancy a drink after the rigours of the day, are out for that special celebration meal, or just meeting friends for drinks the Cowpers is the place for you; a warm welcome will be waiting. In these unusual times please check with us before travelling as we are offering table service only for drinks and meals as our key priority is to keep our customers safe. We didn’t rest during lock down and continued to update the Cowpers and our offerings. With a fresh interior, a new garden bar and BBQ area and the introduction of the first authentic Smokehouse Menu in the area, we can offer you an unrivalled experience. We use using our own Smokehouse rubs and sauces, making the menu extremely popular and we are continuing to grow our Smokehouse offerings.
