Portelet Bay Cafe is a family run cafe located right on the beach at Portelet Bay in Jersey, Channel Islands. The bay is set between the conservation areas of Noirmont and Portelet Common and is outstandingly beautiful. The cafe specialises in authentic pizza as well as seasonal fresh fish during high season and salads always using locally sourced produce wherever possible. Our philosophy is to provide the highest quality and the freshest food possible, therefore we have a small menu which can change often to reflect this. All our puddings and cakes are homemade. Access to the cafe is either by steps down to the bay or boat. You can not drive to the cafe, but we believe this makes it all the more special and this unique location, far from traffic and roads, offers the perfect place to sit and relax. We are pioneers of green and sustainable travel and promote the bus service (12A) as well as EVie bikes , boat travel, paddle boarding, kayaking and of course, walking. The atmosphere is extremely warm, relaxed and welcoming, and we also love the company of well behaved dogs on leads! We have indoor and outdoor seating. We have a small but decent selection of wine and beer. Booking is essential during the summer season.
