Known for being one of Bath’s longest established independent restaurants, the Olive Tree – located below the individualistic Queensberry Hotel on Russel Street – was awarded its first Michelin Star in 2018. This distinction is in addition to being now Somerset’s only 4 rosette restaurant. You will find an unusual edge to what you will have once thought simple flavours – Chris Cleghorn’s Taste of Season tasting menu. Includes seven courses along with offerings of Five , Three and Two courses which all include our ‘To Start’, bread and ‘To Finish’. Menus are comprised of beautiful, fresh, seasonal dishes. Both can be enjoyed in a welcoming, chic atmosphere of de-formalised fine dining. An award-winning chef in his own right, Chris Cleghorn is both Executive Chef and driving force in the kitchen; he honed his superior skills working in many top restaurants including the Fat Duck in Bray as well as alongside Michael Caines. Today, his focus remains on his relationship with local suppliers; he is fully committed to seasonality and utilising local produce to not only showcase the best of Bath, but the best of British cuisine.
