Love Lane Brewery is in the heart of Liverpool's Baltic Triangle which was voted the “coolest” district in the UK by the Sunday Times. Once a rubber factory, which was bombed in world war 2, the building stood derelict for years until it was converted into a brewery and taproom in 2016. Love Lane Brewery Bar and Kitchen is proudly home to an 18,000-hectolitre brewery and brews a range of Love Lane Beers and Higson’s Ales on site. Higson’s was founded in 1780 and is the cornerstone of Liverpool’s brewing heritage. It has been brewed at several locations across the city and enjoyed by generations of beer drinkers. Love Lane was first brewed as a Pale Ale in a converted railway arch in 2010 at Liverpool’s Love Lane (L3) which was the inspiration for the brands name. Under new ownership from January 2024 and fully refurbished in March, Love Lane blends the cosy ambiance of a traditional pub with exceptional food and beer brewed on site. With a backdrop of the working brewery, Love Lane makes for a perfect spot to enjoy a drink or two and a bite to eat.
