Cannonball Restaurant & Bar is one of the city’s oldest buildings with stunning views on to Edinburgh Castle. A cosy whisky and cocktail bar and stunning top floor restaurant with impressive views of the city. Our seasonal a la carte menu showcasing local Scottish artisan suppliers together with our monthly changing Tasting Menu and expertly selected wine list makes Cannonball a very special venue to dine in. Restaurant open for dinner Wednesday to Saturday from 5.30pm and Saturday lunch 12-3pm Bar open for light bites and cocktails Tuesday to Saturday from 12noon. Vehicle drop off is available throughout the year but not in the month of August during the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo. Requests for disabled access for the performance should be directed to the Tattoo. Metered parking is available on Johnson Terrace and in Castle Terrace car park. Cannonball House building is fully accessible. There is a passenger lift inside the entrance of the building from the courtyard that accesses all floors of the building including the bar, restaurant and private dining room. Accessible facilities are located at upper ground floor level.
