John's House opened in 2014 and received a Michelin star and retained it ever since. The restaurant focuses on dishes from produce grown on the farm. We try to offer contemporary fine dining in the heart of the midlands on a family farm in the village of Mountsorrel. Collated and cooked with creativity and precision by head chef John Duffin and his team. At lunch, we serve a 3-course A La Carte or 5-course tasting menu. On Wednesday & Thursday evenings you have the option of 5 or 7-course tasting menus. On Friday & Saturday evenings you have only the 7-course tasting menu. Optional wine pairing for any of the tasting menus on any day. Wine is also at the heart of John's House Restaurant. Our main list tries to offer value on interesting and different wines not normally available to all. But if you're looking for something classic and conventional we have a single bottle list full of the world's finest of wines with approachable pricing.
