The UK guide to pancakes

Pancake Day is one of Dish Cult’s favourite days in the foodie calendar. Sweet or savoury, we’re here for it all! In fact, we’re such fans we say why should pancakes be restricted to just this one day? If like us you crave them always, then this is the guide for you. Here are the leading places around the UK for your next pancake fix.

Threaplands is a destination not to be missed, with made-from-scratch meals cooked to order in a modern, licensed, fully table service restaurant. On the breakfast menu you’ll find two pancake options: the first a large deep pancake served with butter and jam or honey for just £4.50; and the second option is a large deep pancake topped with three rashers of bacon and a side of maple syrup, which will only set you back £6.75.

Around The Clock
cuisinesBrunch, Dessert, Afternoon Tea

Around the Clock is in the vibrant heart of High Street in the ever popular seaside town of Whitstable, Kent. On offer are traditional English breakfasts, wholesome lunches featuring homemade special burgers and hot dogs, alongside lighter options. The afternoon teas feature mouthwatering sandwiches, scones and a great selection of homemade cakes that have to be seen to be believed. It’s the pancakes for breakfast that we’re here for though! There are two types and maple syrup is the star in both options. Choose between a stack of American-style pancakes drizzled with maple syrup and topped with three slices of butcher’s back bacon, a stack of American pancakes drizzled with maple syrup and topped with seasonal fruit. Both are winners in our eyes, so you can’t go wrong!
