The last weekend of Oktoberfest is coming – here’s how to celebrate!

Welcome the new season with Oktoberfest, a collective party at the Bavarian restaurants, full of substantial sharing menus, endless drinks and limited-edition special pretzels to really bring you a part of the German tradition.

At either Newmarket or Queenstown, the Bavarians will be festooned with drizzles of greenery, colourful decorations and funky table cloths, decked out to bring you the fun. The festival isn’t just celebrated in ‘Oktober’ as the name suggests though, and Bavarian will bring you an extra week of fun — from September 17th to 9th of October, three weeks’ worth of festivity!

Bavarian team members will also be dressed up in dirndls and lederhosen to really transport you to Germany, so you should too! Guests who dress up Oktoberfest-style will be in the draw to win from food options like pork knuckles to bar tabs.

Specially curated set menus for Oktoberfest are up to you to choose. For four or more people, guests can choose the ‘OktoberBoss’, which brings you a whole feast of German-style pork belly, traditional sausages, perfectly-golden schnitzels and endless side dishes to really make you satisfied, with a complementary Schnapps beer on arrival.

Or for a smaller party with a minimum of two people, the ‘Oktoberfest Mate’set menu, will include pretzels, pork belly, sausages, schnitzels and sides. Choose your beer from eight choices, with eight official Oktoberfest beers on tap, specially brewed in Germany.

Bavarian’s Oktoberfest will finish off with a week-long October celebration, Big Beer Week, at all Bavarian restaurants from Monday 3rd October to Sunday 9th October.
