Liverpool's best set menus
With so many restaurants in Liverpool it can be hard to decide where you want to go and what you want to eat. With our guide to the best set-menu restaurants around, you can have more of what you love, for less! Whether you’re looking for a quick lunch bite or a fancy meal, we’ve got you covered.
If you’re looking for a special set-menu, look no further than The Art School. This restaurant is a melting pot for hearty, rich flavours and the finest produce in Liverpool. It’s an intimate venue that has been welcoming diners and afternoon tea-ers for 10 years.
You can opt for an elegant fine-dining experience or for afternoon tea in some of Liverpool’s oldest, underground cellars. They offer a tasting menu weeknights and saturday afternoons for that extra something special. The Art School has a limited capacity so make sure you book in advance.
Since opening its doors July 2002, 107 Dining Room has continued to prosper and has become a well-established popular dining destination on the Wirral. Their menu is created using locally sourced ingredients such as pork, fish and the freshest, seasonal fruit for their desserts.
You can enjoy their set menu which includes two courses for under £25.95 or three for under £29.95 on their lunch, dinner or Sunday menus, so you can have more of what you love! Think homemade soup and bread, sticky pork and pecan stir fry, delicious varieties of steak (for an extra charge) and indulgent desserts like their Banoffee Mess. Their extensive menu is too delicious to miss so don’t forget to book your table!
Bacaro is all about cicchetti, the Italian version of tapas. They have a set menu on their small plates that runs Monday to Sunday 12-4pm, you can choose any three plates for £18 per person so you can have more of what you love!
Our favourites include the Chorizo sausage in honey and fried courgette spaghetti with lemon and thyme garlic butter. With low hanging lights and aged wooden decor, Bacaro is a great destination to sit and enjoy delicious food in a trendy, relaxed environment. Their drinks and wine menu is delicious too.
So Salsa has three locations in Liverpool, which is testimony to how popular it is! Our favourite is located right at the top of the bustling Castle Street which is the perfect location if you’re working in town and are looking for a mid-week treat at lunch time. Their set menu includes three tapas for £20, Monday to Thursday 12pm – 4pm. They are fairly big portions so three should be plenty! We recommend the salt and pepper chicken pancakes, halloumi fingers and gambas pil pil – they have an amazing selection of dishes to choose from!
