If your dream New Year’s night is a swanky cocktail party with bottomless champagne, canapés, and sharing platters to die for, Dr Rudi’s is the place for you come December 31st.

Their Bubbles on the Balcony is the hottest event to look out for on New Year’s Eve. Guests can kick off the new year with glitz and glam, sipping bubbly and admiring the city lights over the Viaduct. Bookings are essential, with multiple sessions available. These are from either 6.30pm to 8.30pm, or 9pm until 11.30pm, for just under $250 per head, and all the details sorted for you!

Just across the way is the ever-popular Saint Alice, Dr Rudi’s young new neighbour. If you’re looking for more of a relaxed dance party vibe rather than a high profile event, Saint Alice is the way to go.

New Year’s Eve at Saint Alice will see live DJs blasting tunes from 3pm, and the best part is there’s no entry fee for general walk-ins. Table service (with a minimum budget of $1000) is also available for groups of five to nine guests. If you’re thinking of splurging, you can rent one of 3 large available tables on Saint Alice’s famous balcony – with a front seat view of the fireworks at midnight.

Both of these restaurants are some of the most popular culinary hotspots in the city (if not the whole country), so make sure you nab a spot fast! Amazing food, service and ambience make these establishments a must-add to your list of prospective venues to celebrate New Year’s Eve at.

Whether it’s for the cocktails, waterside view, or the thought of a mouth watering sharing platter, Dr Rudi’s and Saint Alice will ensure your New Year’s Eve is filled with food, friends, and laughter.
