Looking for something special this weekend? We've got just the trick to kickstart the summer season!
Get on your best dressed and head over to Lighthouse Gin’s garden party, featuring a variety of food trucks, local musicians, dancing, and most importantly – delicious drinks.
Held at Te Kairanga Estate’s cottage the day before Martinborough’s Toast festival, locals and visitors alike can kick off the festivities early by playing garden games and mingling with other food and beverage aficionados.
Lighthouse Gin will be providing signature gin and tonics, including other cocktails. Te Kairanga Estate will be supplying wine for those who are more into drinks from the vine. Or, be like us and indulge in both!
Lighthouse Gin is a distillery known for incorporating unique combinations of botanicals such as zest from New Zealand produce and cassia bark, sourcing spring water from the Rimutaka Ranges to create distinct flavours and smooth gin.
Te Kairanga Estate is a vineyard that was established since the 19th century, and since has evolved to produce one of the smoothest Pinot Noirs in New Zealand.
Of course, what’s a garden party without food trucks? Making an appearance will be Pickle and Pie, an NYC-style deli with a Wellingtonian twist, selling traditional favourites like pastrami, bagels and house-made pickles, and Good Times Food, an organisation known for its versatility, serving bites suitable for any occasion – we’re talking party nibbles, grazing tables, and salad bars.
This event is annual, so make sure you don’t miss out on all the fun there is to have! For a cheery $50 per ticket, guests receive a one-of-a-kind opportunity to taste the finest work of Martinborough’s top vineyard and distillery respectively, with good food, good vibes, and stellar views. Guests of the garden party will also receive a limited edition shatterproof glass too, to create your own custom G&Ts at home.
Lighthouse Gin’s Garden Party takes place on 19th November 2022, 11am-3pm at Te Kairanga Estate’s shaded cottage garden. This is an R18 event with an entry fee of $50. Secure your spot right here!
