A spotlight on Manchester's Neighbourhood

Born from a desire to elevate the local Manchester drinking joint and reignite community spirit, Neighbourhood is a fun-loving spot where common values connect over food, drinks, and good conversation. Located in the leafy suburb of West Didsbury, Neighbourhood is an urban take on the classic speakeasy – the perfect place for after work drinks, Friday night pizzas, and Sunday family dinners.

Neighbourhood is the ultimate suburban hangout, with plenty of nooks for an intimate catch-up, as well as a sprawling outdoor patio to keep the vibes high and pumping all night long. Bring friends, make new ones, and revel in the community feel of the bar. The exposed brick, velvet-lined upholstery, warm light fixtures, and greenery all give Neighbourhood a rustic yet contemporary atmosphere, perfect for those searching for pub culture in a more stylish setting.

Pizza is on the menu at Neighbourhood! Their roaring hot pizza oven is constantly churning out traditional Italian rustic pizzas, slathered in rich San Marzano tomato sauce, Italian herbs, and the creamiest of mozzarella. The toppings are generous, the vegetables are fresh, and the meat is locally sourced. Our top picks are the Five-O with prosciutto crudo, wild mushrooms, fior di latte, & white truffle oil, the You’ve Got To Be Kid-in Me with goat’s cheese, caramelised onion, sweet beetroot, and peppery rocket, and the Feeling Hot Hot Hot with Bath pig chorizo, jalapeños, piquante peppers, fresh green chillies, and chilli flakes for a hint of heat.

The menu also has an impressive range of sides and vegetarian options including their garlic butter dough balls, spicy cheesy garlic bread, homemade hummus with flatbread, and a peppery rocket salad with a balsamic glaze and shaved parmesan.

Make sure to save room for a sweet treat because you won’t want to miss out on Neighbourhood’s generously portioned homemade tiramisu or the double chocolate chunk brownie served hot.

As for drinks, expect to see your favourite draughts on tap, as well as plenty of bottled ciders and beers. The cocktail menu always catches our eye, serving up chilli cubans, green chilli margaritas, new fashioneds, espresso martinis, and dirty martinis. Otherwise, you can’t go wrong with a glass of wine or their Karma range of soft drinks.

From the friendly service and infectious vibes to the enticing menu and cold pints, you can’t have a bad night at Neighbourhood!
