LEAF on Liverpool’s Bold Street is a unique, independent tea shop and bar located in the heart of the city, serving delicious food and drinks in a relaxed, yet inspiring space. The striking art deco building has lofty, high ceilings and is home to an array of exciting events. Thanks to its weekly Friday night event, it’s also the best place in Liverpool to kick start your weekend.

Begin your weekend with LEAF on Bold Street every Friday evening from 6pm, as the venue welcomes some of Liverpool’s finest DJs to bring you an upbeat set live from its ground floor.

Live artists to have taken to the decks have included Mono Mono DJs and more.

LEAF began as a small tea shop run by friends in a Liverpool city centre gallery in 2007, with the goal of bringing quality loose-leaf tea to the city in an intimate and bohemian space.

Not long afterwards the team relocated to a bigger site on Parliament Street where they were able to host pudding clubs, album launches and vintage markets, and where they also started receiving accolades and awards, both locally and nationally.

Looking for a yet bigger space to house the café and all of the monthly events, the team found a truly magnificent building in autumn 2010 to make its permanent home – LEAF on Bold Street, which we all know and love today.

All of the food at LEAF is freshly made in the kitchens using the best locally sourced produce, with all of the team being passionate about tea because it’s tasty, fascinating, varied and full of history – hence the name of the venue.

LEAF stocks over 60 rare loose leaf teas from across the globe and has won Great Taste Awards for several of its blends: Secret Garden, Autumn Fire, Peppermint and Pure Life Wellness.

Welcoming early risers, night owls and everyone in-between, LEAF brings people together through exciting food and drink, art, music and events.
