The Lula Inn stays true to their tropical name, serving South Pacific-inspired fusion dishes. Not only that but they put particular emphasis on their ‘playful charm’ and island vibe to entertain guests through a resort inspired interior.

Lula’s is one of the many establishments brought to you by Joylab, the company behind over 20 other prolific venues in Auckland (think The Flying Moa, Coops Corner Pub among others). This means that they’re definitely no stranger to hosting large functions and doing it right. Synonymous with a good time, it’s no surprise they’ll be hosting one of the hottest New Year’s parties in the city.

Part of this year’s New Years Eve package includes a three course meal served from 5-9pm, with starters such as shredded lamb fry bread and ika mata (a Cook Island dish consisting of raw fish, coconut cream, and vegetables to share). Guests will also be able to have their choice of a main and shared desserts.

Spend a couple of hours reminiscing and reflecting over the year that way over some great food, before the live music begins and the party really starts. Drinks will be flowing and the celebrations will be going late into the night to ring in the new year properly.

This New Year’s Eve event is held on 31st December stating at 5pm and going till late. Tickets for NYEs are $79 a head for three courses and entry. This is a strictly R18 event past 6pm. Book your table here and revel in having your New Year’s sorted!
