A brilliant central London Irish bar! Found right in the buzzing centre of London, Waxy O’connors is known for its Guinness, live music, cracking atmosphere and wild interior design! Walking past on the street, you would have no idea that this Soho venue features a tree in the centre of the pub and is spread over six floors. Offering a menu of hearty, wholesome food with the likes of homemade pies, sausage rolls, grilled cheese and more. This really is a brilliant Irish pub, streaming live sports and good food too, we can’t recommend it enough!
The chilled, more cosy sister of Waxy O’Connors. Found a short walk away on Wardour Street, this is a great spot if you love what they do at Waxy O’Connors but want a slightly more chilled, relaxed vibe. With open fires, cosy sofas and spread over two floors, this is a great spot for a post work Guinness and heart warming pub dinner. An award winning venue, again streaming live sports and open seven days a week.
A cracking venue, found in Old Street, ideal for larger groups. With great vibes, good drinks, live sport and live music played by Irish musicians, this is a real Irish hit! Featuring long bench tables, this is a super sociable venue that can get pretty packed out. The menu is short and simple, featuring a number of delicious bar bites such as Salt Chilli Pork Nuggets, Wasabi & Lime and Tuna, Sesame, Yuzu, Gem Tacos. Gibney’s also offers a stunning set menu for Private Dining and party hire, ideal for big life events or work parties!
A venue that is always a guaranteed good vibe, especially for a post work pint and on a weekend. Serving award winning craft beer after originating in Dublin, this is deceptively one of the largest bars in London! Again showcasing brilliant live music, streaming live sports and also offering The Porterhouse Beer Club! Ideal for anyone who is a local fan of their craft beers.
A relaxed, proper Irish pub. Found in Fulham, this is a popular haunt with the locals. Worth noting that this space gets especially busy on a Chelsea match day with it being only a short walk from the football club. If you’re a supporter of Chelsea or visiting the club for match day, Mcgettigan’s is the perfect spot for a pre or post match pint. Otherwise, best to head here after work on a weekday with a group of mates for a relaxed Guinness in a chilled pub environment with live music, proper pub food and sharing boards.

With traditional music played by the house band, cracking Guinness and lively vibe, you really could ask for more from an Irish pub. There is also a beer garden out the back, perfect for those warmer summer weekend pints.

With super vibey music, bar, cafe and radio studio in Kings cross as well as a production company and shop in Mayfair, we can’t get enough of Spiritland. Designed for music lovers with the facilities to create as well as enjoy with good food and drink. Serving a delicious weekend brunch and daily small plates menu, as well as a cracking drinks menu, including a decent range of Irish whiskeys. Events range from book launches to poetry and music nights.
